Our Story
LAtitude 29 Inshore Fishing Charters is owned and operated by Matt Leland. Captain Matt is a seasoned inshore fishing charter captain, rooted in the waters of Slidell where he grew up swimming and fishing in the bayou. After 22 years of service in the Marine Corps, he retired and now passionately shares his expertise and love for Louisiana's waters with others through guided fishing experiences. His deep connection to the local environment and extensive military background makes him a knowledgeable and dedicated captain, offering unforgettable adventures on the vibrant Louisiana coast.
